Costs for the project
THE ECONOMIC FRAMEWORK UNDERLYING THE ASSIGNMENT:
The economic framework, updated in light of the reductions offered during the procedure, is that approved with CIPE Decision no. 105/2004. It originates from the designs prepared by the Contracting Authority at the following levels:
preliminary, for Section T7, Pantano-Torrenova, and the Graniti depot;
preliminary, for Section T6A, Torrenova-Alessandrino;
final, for Sections T4 and T5, Alessandrino-San Giovanni;
preliminary, for Section T3, San Giovanni-Venezia;
preliminary, for Section T2, Venezia-Clodio/Mazzini.

For the sections under construction, from Pantano to Venezia, a total investment equal to € 2.229 billion had been planned.
For the entire route, from Pantano to Clodio/Mazzini, the total investment came to € 3.047 billion.
The economic framework in force
The economic framework currently in force is that approved with CIPE Decision no. 127/2012:
For the sections under construction, from Pantano to Colosseo/Fori, the total investment was updated to € 2.970 billion.
For the entire route, from Pantano to Clodio/Mazzini, the investment was updated to € 3.740 billion.

Changes
During the assignment, the Customer ordered 45 changes to Metro C S.c.p.A., totalling € 0.315 billion, all of which were arranged by the Mission Technical Structure of the Ministry of Transport, and approved by the Italian government’s interministerial economic programming committee (“CIPE”).
Cost per kilometer
The cost per kilometre updated in light of the economic framework in force is calculated at an average value, including the supply of the trains, of € 0.138 billion, a figure that for the underground sections rises to € 0.163 billion.
