AMATRICE: INAUGURATION OF RECONSTRUCTION OFFICE DONATED BY METRO C S.c.p.A.

On 09 May, the building constructed for Amatrice by Metro C S.c.p.A. was inaugurated; on hand were Ernesto Berardi, councillor of the Municipality of Amatrice; Lazio Reconstruction Office Manager Stefano Fermante; and Mauro D’Angelo, General Manager of Metro C S.c.p.A.
The structure is home to Ufficio Speciale Ricostruzione Lazio (Special Lazio Reconstruction Office), in addition to housing some offices of the Municipality of Amatrice. This use makes it a strategic work allowing administrative activities to get quickly back on track, while further optimising the authority’s work. Mr. Fermante stressed the importance of this donation, which makes it possible to “provide citizens with a facility that can provide responses for citizens during the important reconstruction phase.”
